Trane Gas Pack replacement?

RalE

My 15+ year old gas pack has a cracked heater core and I'm going to have the unit replaced.
The HVAC guy that has done all recent work (and I trust) is exclusively recommending Trane- either the 2ton TRANE XL13c or XL14c. Neither qualifies for local energy rebates, but the 14C should get the $300 federal tax credit.

There is only a $375 price difference between the two, so it seems like the 14C 4YCY4024A1064 makes the most sense.

I'm sure I can find lower prices on non-Trane, but is $4925 a reasonable price for the 14C?

The install includes:new plenum, new pad for unit, permits from the city, new hood (metal flashing between gas pack and house), new programable thermostat, any materials required to complete the job, and disposal of existing equipment.
Also includes a 2 year labor warranty
