Family Website - Help Needed

We have a family website that I created - my first effort at doing so. It is still under construction but is moving along:

I am looking for a free program that can generate a family tree. Also, any suggestions as to improvements or enhancements to the website?

http://www.geni.com -- free, though I'm not quite sure how you would embed it in your page. I-frame, maybe?

Your site's pretty decent, but there are sites out there that do all the work for you, like myfamily.com -- and they allow your family to be really involved, by posting content, memories, recipes, etc. It has a family tree built in as well. They have a demo family if you want to check it out.

Thanks for the suggestions and sorry for the belated response - I am out of the country right now.

I will check out the links you provided. Someone else provided me with the geni.com link. The problem like you indicated is one of integrating it into the site. I will look more closely into the option costing $5 which is for all intents and purposes just about free.

Thanks for the advice. I was hoping someone would recognize the company. The website had other photos of furniture that I didn't download to my computer. I have since learned to rename the photo with the website so this doesn't happen again. I have a rather large porcelain sink with double drainboards (paid $15 for it--woohoo!) that I want to build a base for to use outside near the grill and I really just wanted to "borrow" some of their ideas. As I recall, the furniture was rather pricey, but really unique. If anyone recoginizes the company, please let know. Or if you know of another source for inspiration for that kind of outdoor sink base, please pass on the names. Best, Susan

Butterfly Website - Need Help Please

Shady Oaks is very reputable. I've not purchased eggs or livestock from them but have purchased a good amount of larval host plants to attract certain butterflies to my yard. Perhaps the project can include growing the larval host of a couple of butterflies and then the children could learn about conservation and how and what to plant to attract the native species. Seems it would be better in the long run if a patch of milkweed (Monarch), cudweed (Painted Lady) or passiflora (various fritillaries) or some other native larval host were planted to ensure they will keep coming back. Need help saving a website

Mikie, I tried saving as you suggested, but it only saved the one page. owbist, I downloaded the Web Reaper program and it sounded like the perfect solution to capture all the pages that are linked to the main page and the flash files also, but it only saves two pages and nothing else. I plan to work some more with it this weekend. Grandms, if you can remember how you saved the site, please let me know. Thanks to all of you for your help.

Check out Family Tree Legends software which is now available for free.

When you are ready to download the software, a free registration number is provided to validate the software.

It is pretty versatile when it comes to putting together family trees.
