Does an 'Eleanor Roosevelt' rose still exist?

I am trying to locate an "Eleanor Roosevelt" rose. Years ago lady used to bring roses to work from her yard. She said her husband had given her the plant back in the 40's & they were named after the First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt. I have recently retired and now have the time to garden plus space for some roses. I'd like very much to grow the same type of rose in my garden but can not find a source for info. The flower petals were very dark....appearing black from 10 ft or so away but with dark red on the tips of the petals and in the center.
Googling I found reference to E. Roosevelt saying that a rose had been named after her but not much else. I am therefore not even sure that the name is actually Eleanor Roosevelt rose or whether a nickname was used.
Any info would be greatly appreciated especially the proper name and a source for the plants. Pictures would be a plus. Thanks, Bob White
