Many of us more "senior" aka. old curmudgeons like to set >view>text size> largest. Then we click >tools>internet options>accessibility and check three "ignore.." boxes under formatting. Then we push back about three feet from the screen and remove our bifocals and can read everything. But this don't work for some few sites and the wording and the framing and the colors overlap (Psychology Today is completely messed up.) Now -- I said all that to say this -- (1) Web Authors may want to know about these senior tricks and (2)Dynamic Drive's site is not senior friendly!

Hi Dan, Thank you very much for your help. I tried entering the same items again using the wizard. I did it in the order shown. The first thing was, "Page title. (appears in the browser title bar)" I typed in, "Plants & Flowers" here. Next, I entered a heading. I picked size 7, font- brush script, a red color, and centered, and typed in, "Plants & Flowers" The third thing I put in was an image. I browsed for a picture, picked height, width, alignment and centered. Next was paragraph. I picked size, font, color, and centered, and typed in, "Check availability below." Last item entered was table. To keep it simple, I made it just 2 columns, and 2 rows. Writersblock is right, but in some browsers, the border is really obnoxious. Also, the alt, the description, is what comes up when the image is loading slowly or not at all (some security systems strip the images) as well as being what the accessibility readers speak aloud, so it's considered bad form not to include it. It doesn't need to be a full on description. Just something descriptive like "sink". Or "stainless sink" for one and "cast iron sink" for another. Changing the visual size with height and width numbers is an easy way to do it when you're pasting in from another website, but keep in mind it doesn't change the size of the picture, just the size it is shown at. If it's a photo off of a camera at full size, it's going to be a huge file (as in megabytes) and take a long time to load and be rejected by some servers. If you change the size in a photo editing program, the file size will change accordingly, your picture will display correctly without the extra code, and won't deliver all that excess information. Giving credit has nothing to do with stealing bandwidth and violating copyright. It's very good manners to give credit. It's better manners not to use pictures and internet resources without permission.
