Where will I find step by step instructions for creating a web page. Need very simple to follow instructions. Any help? PLEASE.

It's easy. First locate the photo you want to post -- you need to know where it is on your computer. Make sure it has a name and write that down so you can find it later. Do you have a Pictures or Photo file? Is it there?If that's too confusing put the photo on the desktop. Then locate the 5th icon below the space in the box where you type a post. It's a camera icon that says Photo. For best results, use Google Chrome browser. This site is optimized for it and it will eliminate any problems. Type in the post you want. Then plate the cursor above where you want the photo to go and click. Then move to the photo icon and click on that. That takes you to your computer filing system. You may see lists of icons, depending. And you may need to click on desktop or on the Pictures or Photos folder -- wherever the photo was put. Then click on the name of the photo, and click on Open down on the bottom right of the screen. That should upload your photo. Then click Submit under the box, just the way you do for any post. If you get confused or have other questions, post again and we'll help. It's easy once you learn how to locate the photo on the computer.

Hooray for empty cabinets! I've got some empty space now as well. So strange and wonderful. Ended up with commercially made metal wall shelves in the garage and the spacing didn't work out for a rack over the freezer but at least there are a couple of bins on top rather than things that could fall behind. If something can fall behind it will and if you make a stack it will fall over so I avoid them at all cost. I am not happy that the space between dryer and freezer is unassigned, someday inspiration will strike. My garage is done. Had a great time making hangers from scrap wood for that big stuff that won't fit on shelving. Best was solving 2 issues at once. Needed a way to store garden tools and had a wood box without a job. It was originally for computer boards, about 8" square in cross section and about 30" long. I turned it on its side and cut slots through what used to be the sides to hang long handled tools. A slot cut through one side now top holds the loppers upside down and I used scrap hardboard to make dividers that conveniently slid into the board slots. That helps support the tools and made some little spaces for my gardening shoes, pruners and gloves. Used a couple of shelf supports without a job to hang it on the wall.

Do you have any construction experience? If not then you're in for quite the adventure! Doing your basement yourself can be very rewarding! But it also takes a lot of time. I'm not sure what you mean by debt free; If you're going to save up to do your basement in chunks, why not just save up to do your basement all at once? The cost is determined by the complexity of the floor plan and the size of your basement, without those, it would be hard to advise you on the costs. I used this one, it was great. I printed it out ( like they reccomended) then worked on it a step at a time

A few months ago, I began with the HTML Primers at HTML Goodies (mentioned above) and then learned from lots of other places. I just now checked out the link that debincal included above with the step-by-step instructions and I have to say that's the best, simplest, talk-you-through-it step-by-step I've seen yet for the beginner. Though geared for AOL users (tells you how to upload your pages to AOL), the steps before that to get your page started are the best.

I also like Boogie Jack's as mentioned by Dave.

Once you learn the basics, be sure to check out the excellent help at the W3C and also Web Design Group. They've helped me clean up my code quite a bit so that most (if not all) browsers can render my pages as expected.

Good luck, and have fun! I was very intimidated at first but stuck with it and I've learned a lot in just a few months.
