Cost of creating a web page

I have a booklet I'd like to sell on the web. Can someone give me an idea what it might cost to hire someone to create a web page for me? Is a web page what I need to do this?

A website wouldn't hurt, but perhaps for you look into Amazon marketplace. Free unless you sell something.

What exactly is your booklet? Is it an e-Book or real paper booklet? e-Book is easier to sell on-line. It does not mean that paper booklet should be sold off-line only but keep in mind that you need not only a Web-site with a design. The hidden cost is promotion (that is what I'm doing with the flowers Web-site listed below). So there are several places to start from that are almost free - Froogle (from Google), Yahoo Marketplace, eBay, may be Amazon that was mentioned before. Try it first, get statistics and feedbacks from others about your booklet, then you can try create a Web-site.
