Help with CSS

Posted by Carawood (My Page) on

In my cascading style sheet, I have a background color designated for a:hover (when a mouse hovers over a link).

However, in one specific link in my site, I want to get rid of this (I assume using an inline style). I can't figure out how to do it! Any suggestions?

Thanks

RE: Help with CSS

Quick solution...

Just make another selector (i.e. 'none' for this sample)

Make your text link like you would normally, but add the following:

<A HREF="whatever.htm"><SPAN CLASS="none">The Link</SPAN></A>

The only problem is you will lose the hover feature by doing this.

Again, it's a quick fix, but it might be good enough for what you want.

What's your site? I'd like to have a look at it so I know exactly what you're talking about.
