Posted by MaryAnnTX (My Page) on Wed, Jan 30, 02 at 10:00
Could someone please check out the codes on this page Page I'm Working On and tell me why the ¢¢ is appearing on the left under NSCISD? I have tried to figure it out...but nothing pops out at me.
Thanks,

| Look at the text below. It is copied-pasted from your site and contains two $ cent-symbols. (td ALIGN=LEFT VALIGN=TOP WIDTH="20%" HEIGHT="100%" BGCOLOR="#CC0000") (center) (hr WIDTH="100%")¢¢(img SRC="linksnscisd2.jpg" BORDER=0 height=71 width=89) (br) (hr WIDTH="100%")(/center) Hope this helps. Niels, isn't it strange how some things like that just appear? I know it wasn't put there on purpose! I've got it fixed now and really appreciate your help with this and other questions that I have posted. MaryAnn |

| HA HA HA!! That's a great one. :O) So how did you type the cent symbols into this thread's subject line anyway?? |

| I used the code from the 'character map'. For the ¢ sign while holding down the alt key, type 0162, then release the alt key. It also comes in handy when typing the degrees sign ° alt-0176 and fractions like ½ alt-0189. |

Or you can also use a code: &_cent; I cannot post the code correctly, then it will show the result. So you have to delete the underscore so the &c are connected. :-) Hope this helps. Niels. |
