Where did you buy the carpet for your media room? I am interested in a red color one. Can you please show me your carpet?

Maddie, If by a media room, you mean a home theater room, then I would avoid any carpeting that is one of the primary three colors (red, green, blue). These colors will skew video viewing. This is especially true if you plan to put a projector in the room either now or in the future. A medium or dark color is good as well. Light colors will reflect the video. Darker coloers generally work better. Of course these are suggestions based on ideal vieweing. If you want to have red, then consider maroon, a darker version. Hope this helps.

We used a burgundy/maroon sort of color. I recommend a dense carpet and thick pad so that it helps with sound absorption. Our home theater is in the basement so we wanted to really tone down the concrete floor.
