 o
Small(ish) system for kitchen

Unfortunately I did not think to run wires when gutting and remodeling the kitchen. Now I'm looking for a smallish system that would still sound good (like a real stereo vs. little tinny box). Proposing the following:

Receiver w/ CD Player & Ipod compatible: NAD C715
http://nadelectronics.com/products/hifi-receivers/C715-Compact-Music-Systems

Bookshelf Speakers: Klipsch RB51
http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/rb-51.aspx

What do you think? Does anyone have experience with either of these? Thanks for any comments, suggestions.

Here is a link that might be useful: NAD C715

The NAD is a nice-sounding unit: Klipsch speakers are a acquired taste: you either like them or don't. Also look at the Paradigm Atoms, NHT Super Zeros, or the Athena Model ONE speakers: all are small, great sounding and reasonably priced. Consider how you will get an FM antenna to the NAD, as well, as your FM reception is likely to be less than great without some provision for a better antenna
