Hi,

I have a Philips DVP620VR combination DVD/VCR, that I bought second hand on the assurance that it was fully functional. When I try to play a DVD, I get the error message "Playback feature may not be available on this disc." (The VCR works fine, and all of the DVDs I tried work on my other stand alone DVD player.) The net says that this 'may be' the result of having the wrong regional code; however, my menus and setup do not even mention this code; and ..... I'm not even sure if this is the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
