new dish dvr

We just had our old dvr replaced with a new one, and want to transfer the movies and shows we had on the old one to the new
one. We got several different directions, bought a 2TT external hard drive, talked to Dish tech, the hard drive tech, and several others. The guy who put the new one in left the old dvr here, but said to get it transferred within 10 days, or we would be billed for
both dvr's. We can't figure out what to do next...I hope I am being clear----can anyone help us??????

I think you should go to this web site and ask your question.
At the top of that web site are forums for Dish TV users.
Be sure to give the model number of both DVR's when asking your question.
