| All my CD players resume play at the first of a disc if play is interrupted for any reason. Most of my DVD players resume at the point where last stopped. I would like that for the CD so that interruptions, phone rings, family gathers to eat, do not require starting over with the disc. Any CD players work that way? |

| On Sony Micro component sets like the 5 disc CMT-HP* the remote has a pause CD play function button with a symbol like a quotation mark between the start and stop buttons. On the unit itself pressing the chose CD function button (there is also a choose Tape and choose Radio button) while a CD is playing will pause the player. Press it again will resume play. Don't know how widespread these functions are on any other products from Sony or other brands. |
