wall mount help

I just purchased a 32" lcd tv for my bedroom, I would like to mount it on the wall directly in front of the bed between a closet and bathroom door, is there a formula in height vs distance or is it just personal preference. I purchased it with a wall mount and a seperate 3 shelf shelving system which attaches to the wall, it has a cord management system for all the cableing, what do you do with the actual power cords for the tv, dvd, satellite and vcr doesnt seem to show it in the picture on the box. Thank you all in advance.

RE: wall mount help

Mount it according to your personal preference. Try moving the tv to different views according to where you'll be when you watch it. Then make your selection as to height. Add the power cords into the cable management system, it should work out fine.
