Need help

I have a Sharp Aquos LC-20S4U TV set and would like to get a DVD/VCR combo. What would be compatible? Thanks for your help.

RE: Need help

Pretty much anything if you don't spend too much. :-)

Seriously, this set is 4:3 and has 480 lines of resolution. Anything better than a "progressive scan" DVD is a waste of money for you (unless you anticipate buying a high-definition TV very soon). And since even the best VHS VCR offers only about half the resolution of the screen, any VCR you buy will be adequate.

After that, it's just a matter of features, styling, and warranty.

p.s. ... Your Subject line

It's considered proper "Netiquette" to provide a Subject line that describes what kind of help you're looking for. That way people who can't help you out don't have to waste time clicking to read your message.
