Gall Bladder
Comments (7)just wanted to see if anyone else has these symptoms. i had my gallbladder removed a year ago, but still seem to have some of the same symptoms i had before. i was also diagnosed with a hiatal hernia along with gerd. i have such intense pressure between my shoulder blades that radiates to my chest and makes it hard to breath. i have trouble swallowing sometimes and have had the acid that comes up and burns my throat while i've been sleeping and has awakened me. doctors don't seem very concerned and blow it off as if its just tension or a pulled muscle and want to send me to get a massage. i have this everyday and i pray it will get better with diet and exercise, that is my last resort. any advice will certainly be appreciated....See MoreMommy is still sore but no more gall bladder, Peyton has to wait
Comments (7)Wow, I posted earlier but don't see it! Maybe I forgot to hit "submit"? I'm glad that nasty gallbladder is with you no longer but sorry you're so sore. As hard as it its, try and let most of the household chores go for now and eat frozen or take-out food if you can. And let the kids and your dh help you as much as they can! Easier said than done, I know. I wish you a speedy and easy recovery, Stacie....See MoreGirl talk: Has anyone had uterine ablation surgery?
Comments (22)I had an ablation about 6 years ago. I had previously had surgery to remove a couple of fibroids and that helped considerably, but a year later I was still having bleeding issues and I had the ablation. (my doctor had suggested it at the time of the fibroid removal, but I didn't want to do them both at the same time). My periods didn't stop, but I discovered Light tampons, and only needed about 5 of them a month. I haven't heard of women having hormonal problems after ablation. I certainly didn't have any problems with my procedure, which was done with the balloon method. I had cramping for less than 12 hours, then felt fine. You do need to use birth control, because you can conceive, but there is no where for the embryo to implant without the lining, so a pregnancy could be dangerous. I think that it's important to know why you are having bleeding problems. For example,if you have fibroids like I did, an ablation isn't going to remove the underlying problem....See MoreHave you had your gallbladder removed, and if so ...
Comments (99)As I'm sitting here this a.m., I'm noticing how poorly my head feels. This is definitely something that I shouldn't be having, esp as it's not improving like the rest of my body is. I'm going to have to keep exploring and experimenting and hopefully find a solution. Esp given how excellent...truly excellent... like better than I had in years and years...I was feeling right up until surgery. I want to go back there and don't want to compromise or be dismissed. It was only last week that I was feeling so super, so it's not an aging thing or an unattainable thing. It was real, and I'm going to do my best to get it back....See Morelinnea56 (zone 5b Chicago)
