Holly-kay that light is really pretty! I thought since this thread came back up I would post pictures after our boob removal! We just did it last week and I love the clean look! Plus we added in a few more lights where it was a bit dark. The old boobs cast a yellow tint on everything which I didn't even notice until we changed them out. So happy with it!

That 1 boob provides most or all the task lighting in your work space it appears. I'd like to see recessed 4" leds over the sink and range with under cabs for the other counter areas. Then the boob could be replaced with something decorative. Although a recessed light with led bulb would give better general lighting. The 15w A19(regular bulb profile) dimmable Feit 100w replacements available as a 4-pack at Costco or ebay can go in your existing boob or a recessed fixture.

Hi Flo! Here’s some more pics of the house. It’s a summer home by the beach. You helped me last year with my artwork in the kitchen :). I guess I was thinking dark metal because some of the other fixtures are dark already. Originally I was thinking of doing these in the hallway with the white wood but i Was told Edison bulbs were not the way to go.... Here’s pics of the downstairs although can’t find a pic of living room right now. Was thinking of keeping the fan in the kitchen because I’m trying to avoid painting the entire ceiling. Kitchen pendants I just replaced with new glass shades so those are staying as well. Kitchen... Entry hallway/mudroom

The hallway looks under lit, I would install a 4” flush can there and add one or two more in the same hallway to even out the light (they are cheap and easy to Install) If you like warm traditional lighting make sure the cans are 2700 or 3000 kelvin. That frees you up in the bedrooms to get anything you want. Some people like ceiling fans in bedrooms too...
