| I was running for the subway (ironically on my way to the doctor). My leg gave out from under me, and I landed on the sidewalk. I had put my right hand out so I wouldn't hit my head. For a minute I thought I was going to pass out. Now my right side hurts every time I breathe deeply, cough or sneeze.
I know you can't do anything about ribs, but how long will it be before it doesn't hurt anymore? |

| I did that when I fell down some stairs a couple of years ago. Buy yourself some icyhot pads and wear them constantly. They really do help the pain. It took me some months to get over the pain, but I never did go to a doctor. Also, Aleve helps the pain levels. |
