Head Problems...................

Hi, I don't really know how to ask about this, but here goes. I have like a one inch spot on my scalp that is sore, like it was hit with something. But it hasn't been. Then the next time I try to find it, it's OK. Then the next day I have another spot elsewhere on my head that is sore. then it goes away, and it is sore somewhere else. This has been going on for a week. What gives? I don't know what it could be from, or even if it's worth going to the Dr. about. It is in the scalp. Stress? (yes, for 2 years now) Nerves? (I don't think so) Hair Dye? (For roughly 30 years) The only drug I take is synthroid.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Thanks, Ruth Ann

RE: Head Problems...................

there are conditions that can come and go because of inflamation of the nerves in a particular area. It may be neuralgia or neuritis. You need to alert your doctor to what's happening. If you are on synthroid, I am assuming that you see a doctor regularly. Be sure to check with him.

Anytime something begins to cause problems, it usually a good thing to catch it early. It may not be anything worth worrying about, but if it is the sooner you get treatment, the sooner it gets fixed.
