I am on meds for the hypothyroidism, but I am constantly soaking wet. I have to change clothes several times a day, and reapply antiperspirant constantly. I am always burning hot but my temperature is normal. What can I do to control the excessive perspiration?

I rather doubt that your excessive perspiration is due to hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism usually makes a person cold and is often accompanied by dry, flaky skin. I suspect that you have another condition. I think you will want to see a Dr. about this.

My doctor did attribute the condition to my thyroid, but she didn't have a solution for it. It is apparently a very common side effect, so I was hoping someone else had a solution.
