This is hilarious. According to this Urban Dictionary definition, I am poor. I shop at Wal Mart (ALL the time, and occasionally go to Goodwill) and I do not have a Versace anything. I do know how to pronounce it now though. Seriously, I hope I am never defined by what I wear, at the least, although I certainly enjoy nice things! poor 20 up, 77 down Low-class, underpriveleged people. You will find many poor people if you go to places such as Wal-Mart, as poor people seek discounted prices as they do not have much money. Poor people will wear brands such as Faded Glory, Wrangler, and other commonly available brands, and most likely will have no knowledge of brands such as Burberry, Armani, Gucci, Versace, and other nicer brands. They will often drive used cars, typically cheaper domestic cars or inferior foreign brands such as Hyundai, typically more than five years old. Severely poor people will have cars that are ten years or older and they might purchase second-hand clothes from stores such as Goodwill. Poor people will have inferior jobs and probably make less than $50,000 a year. The definition of poor varies by region. The poorest of people will live in trailers. With no means to live lavishly, poor people will often lead a simple lifestyle. Poor kids are often unpopular at school as they can not fit in with popular children. Sometimes also used by some people as a noun to refer to people they do not like. Their clothes are not brand name, they must be poor. Look at the poor people shopping at Wal-Mart!

Anne Could you describe the "story bracelets?" They sound interesting. I don't know if this counts as a "story," but I'm making "embellished" book marks for my "Twilght" friends. The bookmark is topped with three lengths of chain, one each for Bella, Edward, and Jacob. Up and down the lengths of chain, I've added small charms and colored crystals that represent the characters in the book, and also relates to the person receiving it. "Jacob's strand" includes a wolf charm, and also a dog charm to match the person's dog's breed. There's a "genuine LaPush beach pebble" (It must be genuine; I bought it from Etsy! LOL) There will be various combinations of silver feathers, dark brown crystals, motorcycle charms, paw print charms, ect. On the "Edward" strand I've included clear crystals, a piano charm, and a musical charm that relates to the girl receiving it. For the married women there's a crystal for her hubby's birthstone. There's also a wired-on feather (fresh plucked from a local grouse and compliments of Harry. ) "Bella's strand" includes a swan or ballerina charm, a tiny locket, red crystals, and crystals to reflect the children's birthmonths of the woman receiving it. There are other charms included to, but I'll post photos once I'm finsihed with them, say in 2019??? Kim; be careful. Bead stores are highly addictive. Luckily for me, (?) the nearest one is 120 miles away, not very-well stocked, and staffed by some rather rude people. I do all my bead shopping on line now. I see a trip to The Cities in my future.

Praire, I very much like the look of the shower that you posted, but I do have one big concern about this layout: You can't place grab bars on both sides of that shower. If you're concerned about aging in place, the bathroom is the first place you want to direct your attentions, and grab bars are kind "rule #1" for elder-friendly building. Will this matter to you in the future? None of us can possibly answer that question today. If your elderly years are still decades away, I suppose a reasonable, middle-of-the-road answer might be, Build what you like /need now ... but make the shower wide enough that -- if you need to do so -- you could add a pony wall that could support grab bars. You wouldn't have to change the shape of the shower, just add a wall, if it becomes necessary in the future. I definitely think you should go with a curb-free, or barrier-free doorway. Even a small step-over can be difficult for an elderly person, and that's harder to fix later (because it entails details about the floor /drain). As for the shower seat /teak stool question, I come down solidly on the side of the stool. I like the idea that it's moveable. Today you can move it out completely if you're taking a two-person shower. In the future, if you're ill, you could place it in such a way that you can sit down while someone stands behind you and washes your hair. Or you could "sub in" a real hospital style chair with a back and hand holds, if necessary in the future. The stool is more functional than the built-in seat. Another option to consider: A fold-up seat.

Yes, I use mine daily. There are data that higher steps are related to a lower BMI, no surprise. I will use the treadmill desk at night if I am low, though if I am working I have to put it in my pocket and off the wrist. Correct, they are not perfect, and they don't pick up non-walking activity that well such as resistance training or spinning. I used to like the little one I wore on my waist like a pedometer, but they don't make that the One anymore. I have the Ionic which is large. I don't like to sleep with it, either, because it's too large. But this technology used to be only available to researchers and now they are great for consumers. However, people stop using theirs after 3 months or so, to go along with the new year's resolution. I also like that it reminds me to move if I haven't gotten up every hour. I will go to the bathroom and do some laps on the indoor track. I do Goal Day challenges with my sister and friend. I used an old fashioned pedometer steps was when we were in Paris early 2000's because that was the technology, and we had 30K per day! On the Great Wall a couple of years ago, I had 54 floors!
