Massage cushions - opinions please

Posted by ktmast (My Page) on

My husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I have tried some of the massage chairs but none felt good enough to inspire me to invest big $$$.

There seem to be a lot of inexpensive cushions out there but I can't seem to find any sort of comparison.

I was checking out the HoMedics web site. They have a cushion for $250 (pricy but worth it if it gives a great massage). It does show out of stock so may not be an option.

There are a few more cushions on their site that look like they may be good. All say "Therapist Select" in their name some have rollers and some have the circular mechanism.

I would like to be able to compare other brands too, but haven't had much luck finding upper end units.

Anyone have experience with any of these? Would love some help with this.

Thanks,
Katy

I'm surprised no one has replied to your question. I've tried these many times in Bed Bath & Beyond and department stores. They feel good but don't go high enough on my upper back (neck area) to be really what I need.

I've seen some extremely cheap ones by Dr. Scholl on QVC. I cannot imagine they would be any good.

If you don't get a reply here, why don't you post over on the Kitchen Table? Someone there might have used one.

It's a lot of $ to spend on something you aren't convinced about, isn't it? Maybe it would be best to buy one locally (don't forget the 20 percent coupon at BBB), and then you could return it easily if you didn't like it.
