It's NOT Cancer!!!

Thank you so much to everyone that responded to my plea for information about lung cancer (post titled Devastation: Lung Cancer). Miraculously, I just spoke with my friend who just had a pow-wow with his doctors, and it is not lung cancer after-all! It was a bad diagnosis!!!

He definitely is very, very ill, but the mass in his lung is infection ... still no word of how that infection got started, but it has sort of solidified so they can't just 'suck it out'. And it's not in an area that responds well to antibiotics.

They're going to operate tomorrow and remove the mass from his lung. Estimation is that he'll be in the hospital for 5-7 days after that, then home. It'll be "months and months" until he's all better, but the operative term is "all better"! The prognosis earlier was much more dire.

So - - thank you for your prayers, support, and wishes. He's going to be ok! Oh my - a blessed Thanksgiving, for sure.

Love, Suzieque
