Nose Sore Help!!!!!!!

I have a small sore inside my nose.Who should I go to?Adermo doctor or my regular doctor?This has been going on for a month and I; can't overlook any longer.

Adermo? Is that an ear ,nose and throat specialist. If it is then Yes, that's who you should see.

Until you do get in to see one try a saline nose spray. You can buy it in a drug store. Salt has healing properties and will kill any bacteria there may be there.

I get those sometimes. Stress both emotional and environmental bring them out. A first date or job interview almost always prompts my system to generate one. The virus lives in your spine and migrates along the nerves to burst out as a cold sore. Sort of creepy alienish type thing. So avoid stress. Use a lip protectant like chapstick or vaseline when you are outdoors. Both sunburn and windburn will prompt an outbreak for me. Three-in-One antibiotic ointment does a fair job in speeding healing (about $1 generic otc). It will help keep the scab soft so it does not crack open while healing. Avoid raw pineapple! I love fresh raw pineapple but it has a chemical that eats a layer of skin off you lips. Cooked pineapple like what is in a can won't do it because the heat destroys the chemical doing it. My home remedy major weapon to fight the cold sore is an ointment called Absorbine Jr. Really nasty stuff... acetone and wormwood oil. If I can catch a cold sore before it swells up Absorbine will kill it so that an open sore never develops. As soon as I feel the sensation of a sore coming on I run for my bottle and dab it down good. If the sore is already open this stuff will burn! I'm certain this is not "good" stuff to be putting on your lips but then the cold sore is no friend either. When I use some I always put on Old Spice aftershave and everyone says I smell like their grandpa. Just my experience over the years. When I was younger the cold sores would sometimes make it difficult to eat as they spread. These days I keep them down to an outbreak every couple years. : ) lyra

I think the door stands out so much because there isn't much else in the room yet. Your eye is immediately drawn to the white door. Is the regular door into the room painted the same white? Does it stand out as much as this door? My suggestion would be to finish furnishing the room before you decide on what to do with the door. Put in an area rug and window treatments. "Furnish" your desk with a desk lamp, your computer, a glam blotter and in/out trays or the like. Add a reading chair or small loveseat and a floor lamp and some bookshelves. Put some artwork up on the other walls. Then see how much the door bothers you. You might not notice it nearly as much as you do now. You also need to take into consideration how often you use the door. If you use it weekly, say, you will want the simplest and easiest to move solution. If you only use the space for holiday decorations, you can go with the more awkward, heavy, hard to move solutions. If you use the space a lot, you will get tired of moving things back and forth in front of the door very quickly.

How to help with blisters and sore feet

If you start to get a blister on the back of your heel, this'll get you through the rest of the day. Apply a gause pad over the affected area. Hold in place with Nexcare paper tape or equivalent (all available at CVS pharmacy). Put your sock on over the pad. This does wonders in protecting the raw area. Use each day until a healed and tough skin develops. This works best if appleid at first sign of abrason and before a big blister develops. You wouldn't believe how I got my blister. It was from driving on a long trip in hot weather. For most of the year, my trips are less than 100 miles and I never encounter this problem, but with old age and tender feet, and along trip, I got it. After 300 miles into a 600 mile day, it started. The heel of my throtle foot blistered. These days, when I go on trip, I take along my blister kit. Its a box of gauze pads and two diepensers of Nexcare paper tape in a zip lock bag. You do need special tape to stick and yet be compatible with your skin. Nexcare is a micropoe, paper, hospital tape by the 3M company. Yes, I could get some relief by using cruise control, but for safety and practical reasons, I restrict when I use the cruies control. I do not use it in heavy traffic, in fluctuating road conditions, or when tired. If you use cruise control when tired, you may doze off with bad consequences.

This is what wood lattice looks like: Wood lattice You would cut it to size to the same size as the three faces of the porch roof and possibly mount it set-off from the porch itself by the thickness of a 2X4. Think of it as a horizontal trellis wrapping around the three sides of the porch roof. If you enclosed the columns in the same lattice, it would look more integrated. Then you would plant vines in the ground and have them grow up the columns and along the top edge of the porch. If you don't like that, there are all kinds of designs you could go with using some horizontal 2X2's to add more interest to that plain porch edge. You could also mount trellis or lattice work to the two sides of the porch to give it a more interesting look.

Have to call Monday.Dermo Docs are real busy.You call and they give you an appointment three weeks later.Good thing it's not a tooth ache.I did have and appointment and when I looked at it it looked liked it had went away.So I cancelled.Now it looks like it's back.With a little luck maybe I can get my old appointment back and don't have to get in line again.Will let you know how I come out.

Try swabbing the inside of your nose with something like Neosporin before you go to bed. I get these because I blow my nose all the time from allergies, and the Neo seems to work really well. And while you are asleep it has time to work because you aren't blowing your nose or wiping up inside it.

I use a Q-tip, but if you can reach it just use your pinky.

I was going to say exactly what michelle suggested, which is what my ENT suggested for a chronic sore in my nose. And try not to pick the scab.
Also try to keep your house humidified in the winter, when the air can be so dry.

Catherine, I am so glad to hear that your dr. recommended neosporin. I use it because it does do the job, but the directions say not to put it on mucous membranes so I haven't even mentioned it to my Dr.

To Socks 123. Went to the doctor today.He prescribed amed for bacteria.Says people get these sores from blowing their noses a lot.Did not even look up my nose.Some doctor!In away I'm glad he did not look up my nose because he is so good looking.He said this should fix it for good.Will get back to you in ten days .
