I don't know if this counts, but I was on Wellbutrin a few years ago. I can't remember if it was XL or not, or the dosage. Anyhow.......it made me very nervous and dried my mouth out so much I could hardly swallow. It also gave me irregular heartbeats. But I'm very sensitive to meds, so you may not have these side-effects.
i've been on wellbutrin sr for about 3 years. it seems to have helped me a good deal, but it's been so long now, so i cannot speak with utter certainty that that's why i've generally felt better. (sr is for slow release). think i tried xl when i moved from one state to another and decided it was better for me to stay on the sr. actually i take the generic form of wellbutrin.
i haven't noticed side effects except i suspect i might have become more active--of course like everyone i have my moments of depression, but overall, it's helped i would say.
