| Alcohol lowers tolerance to pain, and is a depressant. |

| I don't know. I have it but am not a drinker. There should be tons of info on the web if you do a search there. |

| this is an old thread, but I thought I would answer anyway. My doctor told me to have a drink before bed to aid my heart. The resulting pain put me on the floor. My muscles knotted up like nothing I had experienced before. This was one of the beer-based sweet drinks. I may try again with wine - though I will have to work up the courage first. |
