Anti depressents stimulate,by raiseing Serotonin levels.
Anti anxiety drugs calm and sedate. does this mean the serotonin is lowered.
I suffer from severe anxiety and panic disorder, why am I
prescribed anti depressant stimulants. They send me around the twist. Why would you stimulate someone who is already overstimulated.
Succesful mental health research is being done in Australia,

RE: Serotonin levels

You should be asking your doctor this. If you don't get a satisfactory answer, get a second opinion from another doctor. Different medication give different results in different people. You may be one of those.
