I have had a septic for 20 years and I use Scotts regular. This is the brand that was recommended by a plumber and my septic guy. It is like using sandpaper on your skin but it doesn't clog the septic. You can see for yourself if you wet the Scotts it immediately falls apart. You can look at other brands and just put some water on them and see how fast they break up or just go with tried, true, rough and cheap Scotts. When my kids complain I just tell them that when they use a puplic restroom they will fell more at home because the paper is usually equally as rough as the Scotts.

I use the subscribe and save option for several itms that are priced similar or lower than my regular local store. I considered paper towels, but the box my 20 pack Scott's TP comes in is big, the paper towel box must be huge! I also have an Amazon reward cc, so I earn triple points on anything suppled by Amazon, and can redeem points at check out. Sure a few things might be a buck or two more in some cases, but considering the convenience vs waiting until I both have time to go buy something and remember I need to buy it, totally worth it. I'm too cheap to let much more than that slide though, even on something i only buy 2-3 times a year, so I'm careful about what I opt to buy online.

Just dropped off two packs of 12 rolls of Scott TP for my elderly aunt, from Dollar General for $5 each. They had maybe six packs left plus a good bit of the DG brand and Angel Soft. My aunt says Angel Soft was way too thin for her. She has mild incontinence and uses TP as make-shift pads. I suggested liners but she says "I'd use too many and they are expensive". When I have septic problems and toilet won't flush, waiting for septic guy to come, I've used the baby wipes I always have on hand.
