Morton's Neuroma Pain Relief

| Hi Guys,
I had a terrible neuroma from my Step Aerobics class. I changed to a new pair of shoes that were too tight in the box. I pushed through the pain and little did I know I was developing an irreversible neuroma I did the cortozone injections and of course, that didn't work. I did not want to do the surgery since I am on my feet a lot doing trade shows for my business and I couldn't afford the down time.
I studied the foot and bones of the foot and realized that the widest part of the foot is the ball of the foot. While sleeping on my side, the ball of the foot takes all the pressure from the mattress and that keeps the neuroma under pressure all night. I developed a padded ring that I wore at night that moves the widest part of the foot from the ball of the foot to the mid foot. This lifted the ball of my foot off the mattress and allowed the metatarsals to be uncompressed for the entire 8 hours of my sleep. I went from a pain of 10 to a pain of 1. I am now doing 5-6 step aerobics classes a week and I have no problems walking or standing for any length of time. I kid you not, I got my life back without surgery and I am a happy camper.
Now I know pitching products is frowned upon, but I sincerely want to help people like I helped myself. I decided to apply for a patent on the product. It is called FootRestore.
Check out the website: www.restoremyfoot.com
I just started selling the product a couple of days ago and I am VERY interested in ANY feedback this forum could provide. I am really interested in helping everyone overcome the pain and get their lives back.

Hi bridgerman, Your post might be removed, since you're advertising, so I'll talk fast. I have a neuroma and the injection of steroid didn't work either. I've read alot of horror stories about the surgery, so I'm not even considering that or the alcohol injections. What is helping me so far is using the Walk-Fit orthotic and adding another little pad in front of the metatarsal area. I just have to be careful all the time. Fortunately the pain goes away when I'm off my feet. I don't quite understand......if you sleep on your side, how is the ball of your foot under pressure? I sleep on my sides and my feet are turned too, so the balls of my feet are also sideways. I'll check out your website. Something HAS to work, because I just absolutely refuse to have the surgery. |
I understand now

| Oh, I get it. I just looked at your pics, and realize you meant the side of the ball of your foot. I don't get pain at night. Do you think it would still help, if I don't get pain at night?? |

| That's brilliant. It's a great idea for people that have a neuroma. I wish you luck with with your product, but it seems like something I could easily make myself. |

I had horrid Morton's neuroma, which the md wanted to do surgery on. I found a dr. that makes orthodics for each foot individually. It works wonders, no pain, no surgery. It was so bad, I could barely walk before. That has been 15 years. now. Darlene |
