Thanks everyone for your replies! Snooper, I called Concord Nurseries and they don't sell this tree anymore. He said the demand went down for it. He said that demand goes up and down for all trees and that the Globe Norway Maple is a great and hardy tree and good luck on finding it. Ken, I understand what you are saying about monocultures, but this is not a garden. I am lining one side of my property with the trees, not making a garden or anything close to it. This is our taste and just as I am sick and tired of seeing Crimson Kings and Red Maples up and down my road, i have to respect such property owner's taste. We happen to love the look of this tree and we also are happy it doesn't get too tall because of power line issues. I found a nursery in a nearby county who will be able to easily get the trees for me come spring. He said he sells the trees from time to time and that he personally likes them but their popularity waxes and wanes. I am very happy to be able to now put this tree searcg anxiety to rest. lol I am sorry to hear that you have had trouble locating items for so long. I am sure me griping about a few weeks must have come across as petulant and I apologize. I have never even planted a flower before so this is all knew to me. Just last week I planted grass seed and today saw some grass start to perk up through the grass seed. I felt like I had won the lottery. lol Hey, it's a start? Thank you for your link. I called them and they had 4 of them, but I need 5. One of the four was "bushier" than the other too she said. We want 5 from the same grower as I have heard that is better instead of buying one here and 3 from there.... Brandon, I will be babying these trees like you wouldn't believe; already looking at tree shelters and protectors for them. lol I won't let a pest issue even begin, but if it does I'll be on top of it so it won't get out of hand. I have been reading it is a pretty hardy tree.... rhizo, I can't believe more people don't love this tree, but people in Oregon and Canada (about 2 hours from here) are growing this tree all over the place so there IS demand somewhere, especially when the several places I called in Oregon only had a few left. We love the tree. It's the shape that makes it so beautiful imo. Everyone around here has the exact same thing so we look forward to providing a little variety for people. Misshenry, I called ForestFarm and yes they told me $39 for the tree and $85 for delivery for each tree. Considering the prices of some other trees we had earlier considered from nurseries around here, that were running $170-300 a tree, we considered FF's price, even with shipping, to be a bargain. Bboy, tell me how you really feel about the tree? lol You think it looks like the end result of mal pruning? Yikes. If you saw the moncoulture of all that is in my area you would long for something different. I think Crimson Kings and Red Maples, all Oaks, and Christmas trees grown for privacy, which is done all the time around here, one of the most yawn-inducing things you can do to your yard, but like in all things, your mileage may vary. I was directed to nurseryguide.com by a grower which led me to a grower in OR which then they gave me a list of growers in my area that ordered from them and the rest is history. These are the tests that the 'real thyroid help' forum recommends: * free T3--most people seem to feel best with this at the top of the range * free T4--most people seem to feel best with this in the top 1/3 of the range * TSH * TPO (thyroid peroxidase antibodies) * antithyroglobulin antibodies * TSI antibodies * ferritin--most people seem to do best with ferritin 70-80 * B-12--based on our research, this should be at least 800, and 1000 is better. If you've been supplementing B-12, then testing it directly may not be valid--the MMA will be a more accurate test. * Vitamin D (make sure it's the test for 25(OH)D)(This was the other thing you couldn't remember :-) For adrenal insufficiency it is best to do a saliva test at 4 different times of the day (ordered by you through a lab). Your doctor will just run a one time test which won't be accurate. Instead of the saliva tests, I took (and flunked) the Pupil Test which some say is indictive of adrenal fatigue (others say it's low aldosterone only) and that was enough of a test for my doctor to allow me to start hydrocortisone (in low doses). (copied from STTM website) This is called the Pupil test. You need to be in a darkened room with a mirror. From the side (not the front), shine a bright light like a flashlight or penlight towards your pupils and hold it for about a minute. Carefully observe the pupil. With healthy adrenals, your pupils will constrict, and will stay small the entire time you shine the light from the side. In adrenal fatigue, the pupil will get small, but within 30 seconds, it will soon enlarge again or obviously flutter in its attempt to stay constricted. Why does this occur? Because adrenal insufficiency can also result in low aldosterone, which causes a lack of proper amounts of sodium and an abundance of potassium. This imbalance causes the sphincter muscles of your eye to be weak and to dilate in response to light. If you start HC, you must always remember to wean down slowly if you want to try to get off of it. I started weaning a few weeks ago, but had to go back to my orignal dose since I was having shakiness and nausea. Some people can quit taking it after 3 to 6 months (allowing the adrenals to rest), others have to stay on it for life. I was so glad when I was diagnosed after years of symptoms.. but I can tell you I don't feel much better than I did the day I was told I had Hashimoto's. I have some good days and then bad ones.. mostly dealing with fatigue, lack of motivation, inability to exercise, foot pain and the lack of weight loss (even when following low calorie diets). I imagine I have other problems yet to be discovered (maybe insulin resistance, PCOS or a pituitary problem). You do know that adenoids can grow back? My DD had to have hers taken out twice! Poor kid! The only abnormal thyroid tests that I had were the antibody tests. Some people can even have all normal testing and still be hypothyroid. If you don't feel right - keep bugging the doctors till one of them figures it out! Good luck and let us know how things turn out!

Relax everyone. Take a deep breath. It doesn't need to be done in a day. The best rooms and houses evolve over time and are a continuing journey. Only on HGTV does everything have to be done before you move in. The best thing is to find something with color you love. For me in both my condo I just sold and in the house I'm hoping to build (don't ask!), I chose my busy granite first and everything in terms of color will work from that. It may be a wallpaper you love, a fabric, a vase with the colors you love, a rug, a favorite chair, or even a painting. Then just choose pieces you LOVE. If you choose what you love, it will all work together.

It doesn't have to be drip. I tuck containers in my landscape beds that have sprays on shrub risers. Most large wholesale nurseries use sprays to water their containers. It is pretty easy to set up a square of PVC with sprays on the corners on a timer. Then you just have to fill in the square with pots. If you have a lot of pots that can fill an 8'x8' square, trying to put them all on individual drip can be a nightmare.
