Liposuction: to do or not?

Posted by insane (My Page) on

Thinking of liposuction. My fat annoys me so much(

Found many pics of well-done procedures, but still a little afraid.
The pics are here:

Do you think, is this procedure worth to do, or it can cause serious health problems?

It often gives good results. It also has risks.

Infection is probably the worse. If enough of the area is damaged, it will look worse than fat.

There is also the danger of the results giving you a lumpy look instead of a nice smooth one.

Sometimes it will leave spots where the nerves have been damaged or cut. This may leave you with numb spots. This doesn't sound like much but.....I have one such spot about the size of a half-dollar coin. (It's because of some surgery that I had.) It itches like mad sometime, but it doesn't do any good to scratch because the skin is numb and the itch is from the damaged nerve ending. I could climb the walls when that happens!! %^&*$

And yes, I know about diets and exercise. I don't have what that takes either. I guess I'll just keep my fatty deposits. Pooh!

I think I look good with a little body fat. I don't like the idea of surgery and pain just for the sake of vanity.

I say don't do it either...I would be afraid....Do it the old fashion way...Try to eat what God first put on the earth...LOL...portion control...lots of water....walk every night...LOL...I know it's hard....I try telling myself this every day....

Good Luck with whatever you decide!!

Well,it depends. Sometimes problem areas just do not go away with diet and exersice.
If you want to do it,then go ahead.Just be sure to research your doctor real good first. Ask to see his or her before and after pics. It's the doctor who can make the outcome good or bad. Good luck if you decide to go through with it. I have known several people who have done it with little to no problems from it.

It's not for me, I will keep my fat.

When I was in the hospital I walked the halls for exercise and met a woman standing outside a room. There was crying and some screaming coming from in the room. I asked what was happening, she said her daughter had breast implants and her vitals were to low for pain pills. The young women was worried about the pain, the mother was worried about her vitals being to low. As much as hate my turkey waddle, I will never have volunteer surgery.
