Oh jeez I really feel for you! I've never broken ribs as far as I know, but last Spring (2007), I was roughhousing with dog - (about 70 lbs weight)...I was on floor in den on my back and dog pounced on me - on ribs on my left side, front. It hurt bad. A couple days later, roughousing again - this time kneeling on foot of bed and dog came up off floor and socked me again in same spot! OUCH! Needless to say...I had some bad pain to the point of 'seriously considering' going to Doc...as not only did my front ribs hurt, so did I feel like my HEART hurt, my side hurt, as well as my BACK ribs started hurting. I never did go to Doc, - (money issues!) - but I quit rough-housing with dog for a long time. (So, I don't know if it was bruised or cracked, or broken!) I don't think broken or cracked, as I felt like if HAD been, money would not be object! LOL! 3-4 months later still hurting but better, but hurting enough to make me 'concerned' it lasted so long. It finally went away. I'm guessing if you BROKE a rib, it will hurt for quite some time, depending on your age and pain tolerance, of course. I didn't try heat or cold packs, so I don't know. Did you try to get pain killers or ? to help from Doc? I don't sleep on back or stomach, mostly on side...However, I slept anyway I could to feel comfortable! Good Luck, and I hope someone comes along with the heat or cold answer for you. (However, you could call Doc or maybe even a Pharmacy to get answer.)

Good morning! Thanks numbersjunkie, for taking the time to give feedback. The bump out is kinda interesting...who would have thought? mpagmom - Sounds like you think I might be on a good track here? I love your counter to ceiling cabinet. My only concern is that our peninsula is likely going to end up some odd depth and I'm not sure how to do it to the counter so it fills up that space completely and looks good from both sides? Hm... I wonder if I could do a floor to ceiling? I just doesn't seem it would have the same effect as the wall bumpout, somehow... I might have to at least play around with that. And, about the garbage under the sink... I've been pondering it. But I do a ton of prep work at my sink - not to mention rinsing out recyclables. The thought of having to pull away from the only sink so someone can use the garbage isn't thrilling me. I haven't had space for garbage in my current sink. If you had asked me the ONE thing I would love in a new kitchen, I would have said 'room for garbage'. Oh, the irony! Have I missed your unveiling? It sure looks like that is a lived in kitchen! It's looking great! Palimpsest - The details on each side of the sink are just 3 inch fillers from the virtual design program I am using. I have 2 on each side to reserve space for pullouts on each side of the sink - but don't intend to do fancy moulding on them in real life. Would it be inconsistent with this house to have those half-legs on each side of the sink? Better to keep it to just flat panels? I hear what you are saying about the glass doors over the sink. I'm drawn to them because they echo the white french doors that lead into the den from the room with the front door. I'm having a hard time letting them go - how strong is this recommendation? Lol The ultimate problem here in the end is the darn layout on the lowers. I can easily fit in what I need IF I forego symmetry on the back wall. Otherwise, I a) can't have drawers on each side of the stove like I want or b) have to give up a garbage slideout or a corner cabinet for the appliances. I really like the idea of garbage on one side of the sink and DW on the other. But, I can't find the room unless I put a blind corner into the stove area, which ruins the symmetry on THAT wall while eliminating the option of drawers. Bleh. This kitchen really did not feel small until I went to redesign it...

The onset of BC younger than 40 yrs. old is generally not without - a much higher Stage cancer at diagnosis 2. higher rates of the cancer reoccurring I'm not sure why you're attempting to discourage very simple screening for something that hundreds of thousands of women die from each year. The progress of women's health care has come too far for such nonsense. JoAnne - I'm sorry they didn't test you yet but stay strong and know that you're definitely doing the right thing by keeping this in check! Please keep us posted.

Thank you all! I'm relieved to hear that many of you think the cream works. Delicious and rich are good descriptions. It reminds me of the color of homemade whipped cream, fresh from the farm. Although, my nine year old said the texture makes her think of paper towels, lol. We got the rug at Tuesday Morning. DH and I stopped in there to look for rugs and curtains on Saturday. I didn't see any good rug candidates hanging up, but there was a gentleman who worked there that was unpacking and hanging up a few new ones while we were browsing. We waited for him to start unpacking this one. We had a great conversation with him, and he convinced us to at least bring it home and try it out. He had an artist's eye, and wasn't just a salesman, as he chatted with us about kids, colors, and fiber contents of rugs. We never even saw the whole thing unrolled until we put it in the living room the next day. But we saw enough of it along the edge where he'd started to unroll it to take a chance. Here is testament of how much I love y'all here on gardenweb. The label to the rug landed under my big chair. (Of course, right?) I got a helper to hold the chair, sat on the fooor, and used my foot to hold up the rug so I could get this shot for you. :-) This way maybe you can find one a little easier, ctlane.
