| A article I read says CQ10 is popular for lowering cholesterol. I already take prescription medicine for high cholesterol but was wondering if it would be harmful to take it as extra precaution?
Any thoughts? Thanks |

| I don't know what it is, but, YES, it could be a bad idea. Always tell your doctor so that if you take it, and have some sort of weird reaction, he will know what might be causing it. |

| I take CoQ-10 with Crestor on my doctor's advice. Many people take CoQ-10 together with their statin drug because statins beat up on the CoQ-10 that your body naturally produces. I have never read anything about CoQ-10 actually lowering cholesterol |
