It's on my face, next to my ear, above my teeth. It feels a little hard. I have a dentist appointment on Saturday; I'll have them look at it, but in the meantime, has anyone else had this?

maybe 15 years, but it's below my back molars almost to the jaw line. The dentist said not to worry about it, so I haven't. It feels like a small pumpkin seed, sorta flat and oval and it shifts a little bit when I press it. I hope yours is nothing, but you are wise to ask about it. Do watch it for changes too. Good luck!

I found a lump in my jaw near my ear about 20 years ago, when I was in my early 30's. The dentist pushed it and out passed a small stone, into my mouth. He examined it carefully, said it was a stone of calcium and salts from my salivary gland. I later discussed this with my MD, he said not to worry. It wasn't painful at all, and never returned.
