Is anyone else having problem with pests too?
Comments (24)rhizo_1, "Are you promoting this product without even trying it first?" Your implication that I am promoting the product is false. And I never said I tried it first. Deb mentioned that her container garden was covered with aphids, and I suggested that she might want to try the Bug Blaster. It was just a suggestion and not a promotion. "Are you selling it via one of the HVH private home parties?" Your implication that I am selling something is false. Your implication that I am associated with Hidden Valley Hibiscus is also false. I am in no way associated with Hidden Valley Hibiscus and I am in no way associated with Bug Blaster. I don't know anything about any HVH private home parties. And I am not selling anything. "Be careful, this appears to be the worst kind of spam." I am not doing any kind of spam. I was merely bringing a water spraying device to the attention of Deb that I thought she might not be aware of, and that she might possibly be interested in. I was merely providing information and I was not trying to make a sale. I don't stand to benefit in any way from this. I was merely trying to do a good deed by taking the time and effort to supply links that might be relevant and interesting to Deb. Perhaps you were also attempting to do a good deed by jumping in to protect Deb from the big bad TV pitchman. But to me, your false implications come off as mean spirited and this feels like another instance of "No good deed shall go unpunished." ZM...See MoreDoes anyone else have the itch?
Comments (44)Well, after living with in laws for 6 months while the house gets built, we finally moved into the new house 2 weeks ago, I promptly planted 4 taxodium hybrids as soon I get a chance. I have a nice grove of escarpment live oak in the corner of backyard. Never had that much shade so I'm a little excited about what to plant there. Perhaps a couple of JMs with nice red fall color from my brother that he grew from seeds. That's in Houston where he lives so I'm curious to see how they do in bit colder weather over here. There are deer around here but they don't seem to wander close to houses judging on plants on older houses. I guess they are too scared of us unlike at in laws where they come like dogs wanting treats. I've had a couple of big nice looking bucks come right up to me and start eating deer corns out of the bucket! I'm going to miss that. Just so cool......See MoreDoes anyone else have this problem leaving Jades outdoors?
Comments (15)Mike it is not your fault it is the locataion of where you live. Is your air carrying heavey high humidity this time of the year, if so that is your problem.? Jades grow on rocky hillsides in SW Africa. They love to be cramped between rocks, it reminds them of home. I have said this over and over through the years, does anyone here pay attention or am I just wasting time? I need to know. Check back through the archives for the past 15 years. There is no magic pill that will cure this. It is a cultural condition which you will need to learn, I know this is not what you want to hear, but I can not sugar this up so the information will go down easier. Comments (2)Yes! I have a very small mouth, and my dentist last year switched to a new way of doing X-rays -- instead of the old folded X-ray tabs that go in your mouth (that were bad enough), he now does digital X-rays. And the thing that goes in your mouth to do it is HUGE. And cuts my mouth to ribbons. Add in the fact that I have a really strong gag reflex, and the entire experience is just fun, fun, fun! Usually after the first X-ray, and a whole lot of kvetching and gagging from me, the technician switches to the child size thingies......See Morepuddlejumper
