What are the water parameters of the pond/tub including temperature? When you move him/her to the tub did you use the water from the pond? Try to use at least some of the water he/she was in. All new water can/will shock him/her.

Thanks Nance & Deb for your assistance. I went out to check the pond earlier and saw Gil my bluegill laying on it's side. I netted it out of the pond and put it in the isolation tank with the sea salt. I pulled my pump out of the bottom of the pond (where I store it for the winter) and pumped pond water into my spare 100 gal stock tank and added malachite green. I took the sick koi and Gil out of the salt bath and put them in the medicated stock tank. The koi seems to be doing better but still has a lot of fungus on it's tail. The bluegill is swimming around now instead of laying on it's side. My pond is 3,000 gals. I called Petsmart and they have Melafix for ponds. I am going to treat the entire pond before I start everything up. Hopefully this will prevent anymore sick fish. Jenny

thank you all for your input. i did get her an air stone after i posted about it. i was so worried she did not have enough oxogen i barrowed enough to get the stone. jalal, that is exactly how mine started. there was the white fuzzy stuff all over her back fin. i have not been able to find out what it was as of yet. but the other fish seem to be ok so far. i did notice a white spot on the head of one of my other koi he is all black except on the bottom he is orange. but he is eating and very active. i'm going to keep a very close eye on him and if it seems to spread or anything, he is going in a sick tank imediatly. i have been treating my pond with malafix so i hope it is nothing to worry about. i so hope. i don't know if the koi are anything special or not. i'm so new to koi. but where i live there is a very limmited supply of koi, and the pond, pet store was having a koi show so i thought maybe there were a better quality. but since my ph was very low they would not refund or replace my fish. i did get some ph buffer to raise the ph to a normal range. i did this 2 days ago and the ph is still at 7.0. but i only have the test strips. i'm going to get a more acurate testing kit as soon as possible. the cheapest i have been able to find is 40.00 and it only tests for 5 things. and no amonia test. but i'm searching the net for a better on. angelcub, there is a petsmart about 3 hours away, but with that type of garuntee i'm definatly going there for my next koi. i'm going to call first to see if they have the butterfly koi. i just love them, they are so preaty. i have one butterfly left. he is yellow and black. a very lovely fish. he seems to be dong so good so far. i thank you all for your help, and kind words. any fish i get from now on are definatly going to go in a quariteen tank.. that is for sure. i got my 60 gallon pond up and running today. as soon as it is stable and tests ok, i'm going to put my 3 commets in there. that should help with some of the stress of my other pond being sort of over populated. i also got a valve for my watter fall that regulates the flow. a neighbor had some sort of ball thing for plumming and he put it in. now the waterfall is going much slower and the pump is not pulling as hard. i am hoping this will also be less stressfull on the fish. i'm doing all i can figure out to do. i hope it will work and keep my fish safe, happy, and healthy. oh yeah i also started putting in good bacteria 4 days ago. does this help with the fish staying healthy??? tip from Dr. E Use api test kit if you want but you really don't need it with what I'm doing... i usually do this to injured fish or sick fish: 1) get a new container (10 gallon) 2) put water in there 3) add fungi clear and ick clear (See bottle for directions) 4) let water age for 1 day then your new container will be a fresh new clean container. 5) fish your betta from the tank with a aquarium fish net and put him in the new tank. (add penicillin and aloe vera droplets to heal its wounds or bio coat with a drop of penicillin) if the rot or fungi reach its spine, then ur betta will soon die... DO NOT BUY CHEAP FISH, they are usually covered with dangerous disease and contaminants. 6) tear down your old tank, because even if you change water or add other to the old one, white residues will stay and it will come to kill your fishes again... 7) clean your substrate, your tank, and rinse your plants throughly... put it in a glass container and if you see white mucus or white objects, rinse it somemore. 8) change your filter, add new water, add declor out, let it filter. Personally I like the name eclipse and sleak design, although the arcylic glass is a cultivator/incubator for most diseases. slime and other contaminants easily attach itself to it. Stick with glass, since they aren't easily scratched. Go with aquaclear filtration system it is much better and cleaning debris and capturing fungi floats (the lil flaky mucus balls debris) usually caused by additives If you add them in your old tank you will definitely see those lil white balls. eclipse is that water flow on filter, not highly proficient when caring for your fish.
