I "saw" it in a very intelligent man about 30, rented my GF's back house, came up scratching away & was bleeding, asked us if we could see bugs or worms, said they were driving him crazy. Both arms were scratched up badly. He had given notice that he was going back east. When we cleaned the house we realized he was mentally ill. He had fought to live a normal life, he made up video games & sold them, but just couldn't deal with "us" We found a letter he had written his mom & letter she had told him that anytime it got rough he was welcome to come home, his room was waiting. We sat down & cried. I woke up 1 night & felt a bug so grabbed the flashlight from under my pillow(earthquake country)& guess I startled the spider as he stopped, I flattened him with my hand as couldn't reach the tissues & don't like spiders. I will get an itch in same place for several days & sometimes it's allergies,change of lotion, forget to put it on etc. so maybe just dry skin. I have 3 bros. that have a weird response to hitting elbow,2 pass out, 1 was on a navy ship & when he came around crowd around him, just happened that their head officer had same problem. Youngest bro. "feels" it & tries to get safer as when in tree he slid down in crotch of branches & dropped saw to ground, he goes out for up to 30 min. very strange stuff! They actually have a name for it.Don't remember what it is anymore. With all the chemicals in food & our homes these days wonder we don't have more problems. Jan

Actually, I found out what they are. They are in fact biting thrips! I've known what thrips are for ever, but never knew they bit us. Not all kinds bite people either. They are seasonal here, and are generally only out in the hottest parts of the day in direct sun. They are tiny for sure, about 1mm. Im glad its not those things you linked too! Thrips only bite people because they are attempting to find food. They rasp leaves and flower petals and suck up the slush they make by the rasping/ sucking of their mouthpiece. The only reason they bite people is because they are attempting to do the same thing to human skin. Once they find they cant do it, and thus get no food, they fly away or move to another part of the body and attempt again. They are annoying little buggers for sure, but usually leave no lasting affects in most people. Usually just a second or two of a tiny pin prick type itch / slight sting, and we either scratch or they fly off having not gotten any food. Very common bugs, and very VERY common in grassy areas, especially lawns.

I like the no diaper idea, but can't imagine it working on an infant. If I was a new stay at home mom I think I'd give it a try. My kids were potty trained quite young. I started on them around 1 year when the bottle went. I put them in big kids undies and on the real toilet seat sitting backward so they could hold on & see themselves eliminating. I did this anytime they ate or drank anything and every 45-60 minutes or if I noticed they stopped playing for a moment or or were "holding" their privates. We made a big deal about not going in the big kids undies. I can't imagine holding them over a sink to go, unless all toilets were in use, then maybe I would. I never encouraged them to go potty outside. I was babysittng my sons kids for 2 weeks and had my then 14 month old grandson going potty in the toilet during the day and waking up dry a couple nights. His parents came home, but didn't keep reminding him or encouraging him and put him back in diapers. Now he is 27 months and still in diapers. A couple weeks ago I was babysitting again for 4 days and had him going in the toilet and he was excited about it. I haven't asked if they've kept it up....don't think I'll like the answer. I have 2 fur babies that are 18 months & 20 months & they're still having accidents. Other dogs I've had thru out my life were potty trained in a few weeks. These 2 know better, but still go in the house sometimes in the same 3 places. Frustrates me to no end!

The gagging could be from what is called "silent reflux"... I didn't even know i had it until i went to the doctor with an ear ache which was also contributed to the reflux. When you are laying down the acid can creep up and then in turn make you cough and gag. I had nausea as well for many years from this and did not even know it. It is quite common in perimenopause as it relates to hormone fluctuations. I take an OTC Zegerid at night for the reflux and it has helped a lot. Also, not eating a few hours before going to bed may help as well. Not sure if this is what you have but it sounds like it to me. As for night sweats i found that at least 30 minutes of exercise a day, walking or running helped tremendously. It also helps with my anxiety and nervousness that also comes up out of nowhere at times. The only thing getting me through is the thought of making it to the finish line and this being over fairly soon... i hope! Good luck
