| At the risk of sounding silly, I'm wondering if foods that cause one to have gas, such as beans and boiled eggs, are the same foods that cause excess acid and lead to gastric problems? Or are they two different things? |

| Gas produsing foods are those with hard to digest fibers which remain into the large intestins and ferment. Gas is a prodict of fermentation. Boiled eggs are not gas producing, high fiber foods are. Foods which cause stomach acid production are fatty foods and protein foods which are slower to digest. |
