I'd go with garlic mustard because the original poster mentioned it grows like a ground cover. All my ligularias are fairly tall. The garlic mustard is highly invasive.

you see, thats so strange. i know the yellow poplar(tulip) , but the blades on this leaf are much deeper and separates from the other blades(fingers) . i just looked up the yellow poplar(p. 267 in my audo book) , and its more webbed than this... kind of like the dif between white oak and red. wow, thats strange, must be its genetics. well, thanks again! it was drivin me nuts!
