I grow them both in England and despite having small flaws, they are wonderful roses, worth cosseting. True, Madame Gregoire does not repeat but comes early into bloom which continues, at a turbo charged rate for 6 weeks. No deadheading needed because it will make enormous globular heps, easily larger than rugosa heps, with a pale orange colouring perfectly suited to autumn. The fresh green foliage is also heartbreakingly beautiful and the blooms have a fragrance reminiscent of sweet peas. Zephirine is altogether a bit more problematic in that it tends to suffer terribly from powdery mildew....which can be greatly alleviated without spraying by careful siting. It hates being planted against a wall but performs far better on a chainlink or post and rail fence - ventilation is very key for this rose, as is ensuring sufficient moisture at the root zone (but doesn't all of Texas have irrigation set-ups?). A strict pruning regime with ruthless thinning and rotating the long green canes, cutting every lateral hard to within a bud or 2, maintains an open airflow and encourages a great spring flush (although the second flush occurs at the ends of the much longer laterals and has to be regarded as an extra rather than a given spectacle. A famously fragrant rose.

I have used Clinique 'repairwear' eye cream for about 18 years. I use it in the morning and at night I can not live without it. Nothing makes wrinkles go away but you need to moisturize, it just makes the wrinkles look softer not so deep. I have very sensitive skin and this is the only eye cream that does not bother me, Clinique has two creams the other makes my eyes puff up. I think the skin around your eyes is more sensitive than the face so you need a cream made for the eyes lots of companies make them.

Here's a thought: if the dark and dramatic idea does appeal, it could be introduced via art or wall decor. A dark piece of art would balance the dark countertop. I know you've enjoyed the current print for a while but perhaps now's a natural time to switch it up? (This type of idea is always easier when we have space to store rotated decor... ;-) Actually, perhaps there's no need to store away the current print if a new one can be added over the existing? Depends on how the current piece is framed, obviously. You don't want to do anything that could damage a print. Just thinking out loud here. :)) Also, wall decor can be pretty much anything you fancy that can be framed or hung easily on a wall. Textiles, wallpaper samples, prints, photos, objects...This is when we're well served to let go of the idea of "rules" and "shoulds". Agree the mirror needs some sort of frame for "heft". I also wonder if the current one isn't simply too narrow? Hard to know for sure from pics so trust your eye. I also really like gold and warm toned metals but I think I'd go with black knobs for your vanity. Or knobs with a touch of black. A mixed material knob might be just the thing? Make sure you painter tape up the knob sizes on your vanity because product pics can be deceiving. (Maybe you have different-sized knobs on other pieces of furniture you can try out to help your inner Goldilocks? Again, thinking out loud...;-)) Two tone in a square shape: Simple faceted black glass: Here's a powder room with an interesting colour palette: black, gold, white, a touch of chrome, and peach (?). The black and wall print adds simple visual punch, imo. Of course, art is personal so it must appeal to one's taste, first of all. But it doesn't need to be precious or complicated. ETA: Forgot to ask: what's on the other walls? Is the wall next to the toilet blank? Perhaps that can feature something "fun and dramatic"? If you're tempted by that style idea, of course. Also, re-reading your measurements, I do think with your 31 inch vanity, the 22 inch wide mirror is too narrow. I think your mirror needs to be as wide as your 24 inch light fixture so yes, do try your 25 inch spatter mirror!
