| I have been told that running a humidifier would help my breathing problems. When I went to buy one, there were so many different kinds that I didn't know what to get. Since this is going to be an investment for my health, I thought this was a good place to ask for advice. What are some of the features I should look for when purchasing a humidifier? Warm Mist or Cool Mist? What does evaporative mean? Any help that you can give me will be greatly appreciated? Thanks in advance. |

| The evaorative are best.....the cool mist ones can emit droplets so small that they can remain suspended in the air for a long time....and you can inhale chemicals that are in the water deep into your lungs. They leave a ring of dry white dust around them after running for a week or so. But....whatever you get be sure to keep it clean....they can be a major source of mold allergins and bacteria growth.
