| My Brother was just told his problem he is having is shingles and I was wondering if someone could give some feedback on what to expect and any treatment that would help. He is getting them on his face and inside his mouth and he said it is so painful. Please help!! |

| Has he seen the doctor. I don't know of anything that will help but a prescription from a doctor. My advice would be to go. Shingles are very painful and are nothing to fool around with. They are caused by the same virus that causes chicken pox. |

| On another posting I mentioned that people that have used Zostrix on the eruptions have found it helps with the pain. Have to be careful though as it contains capsaicin which is the 'heat' in chili peppers so keepaway from the eyes & mouth! I find it also helps to rub on arthritic joints too. |
