Me, Fard, well I never! I am still reeling from the bad news I read today about my wrinkle cream. I mean, really folks, when you get older your skin does funny things. If you are a skinny little thing (like I used to be) you wrinkle up like a bowl of prunes. I noticed that the fuller figured gals didn't seem to have that pruny look so I tried to gain weight. I ate everything in sight for several months and IT WORKED. My pruny face had plumped up, all that fat had smoothed out those wrinkles but now my face was,well what it was, was FAT. There was no getting around it, I had not only plumped up my face but somewhere along the way my thighs had joined the club right along with my derriere. One night I got to thinking about what I could do about my wrinkles (If I ever had occasion to be skinny again, mind you)and I had a flash of genius. If Preporation H would shrink hemorrhoids, why wouldn't they shrink wrinkles? Knowing that sooner or later i'd be back on a diet and I would be losing all the fat my wrinkles had sucked up over the past few months, I started stocking up on P-H. I had just finished buying enough P-H to shrink a Hemorrhoid the size of a football field, when I read just today, a warning about Using P-H on your face. Now i'm stuck with more P-H than you'll ever see in your life time and I don't even have Hemorrhoids. I wonder if it would qualify as a stocking stuffer? ;0)

one big way is to stay completely away from any of the data mining sites like facebook, myspace, twitter, all social networking, etc, they are the pretty mask of the ugly truth, all they want is your info and they want it really bad, they make billions of dollars because people freely just dole out their info and all their friends info to them with a big smile on their face. Then wonder why they end up with spam, viruses, trojans and rootkits plus why their identity seems to be stolen, hummmm... 1+1= I was just recently asked(by a large company) about how those social engineering sites could aid employers to find out info on potential employees which they would not of course be providing on their applications. Within a few minutes of having the names of 3 people I was able to provide them with a wealth of info all of which was very negative in respects to hiring, so if people think they can just put anything out there and it NOT come back to bite them, very very wrong. And as it is public information it is free information.

I suffered from hemmroids for many years. I had the laser treatment and it made them a million times worse. I also had the surgery. The pain I had afterwards for 10 days was excruciating. Going to the washroom was really a treat. Soon after the surgery the hemmroids returned. I was crying to my doctor, I thought they couldn't come back. He told me to cut out ALL popcorn, nuts, seeds and corn. I used to eat a lot of popcorn. I didn't think it would matter but I tried it anyway. After that the hemmroids were gone! The only time they return is if I eat a handful of nuts. The best treatment is a good diet and long soaks in the tub. I'm sorry to scare you about the surgury but that was my experience. Donna

Well, if it really bothers you, you can point it out to the health care provider and explain that this is a HIPAA privacy violation and that you want to ensure that your conversations in that office are kept private. Ask them how they can do that for you. If they don't take it seriously you can report it to the US Department of Health and Human Services. This is the agency that is responsible for HIPAA privacy enforcement. Since the HITECH act was signed into law last year with ARRA, HIPAA is now also enforceable by state's attorney general. The alternative is that HIPAA is a very costly government mandated farce funded in part by taxpayers and in part by every consumer of healthcare.
