thank you for all your prayers

i just wanted to thank all of you for your prayers for my son ricky...he is still in intensive care and we do not have any idea when he will get out....they are doing surgery this afternoon at 530 on his broken jaw and they keep doing ct scans on his head to check the bleeding and swelling of his brain....i had a delayed reaction nervous breakdown this morning....my husband will not let me see him yet because he doesnt want ricky to get upset(he is very protective of me)but i feel as if i need to be there....but dont want to be selfish by thinking of my feelings......i just wanted to thank you all....i dont know what i would do without all of you...

Terri, I must have missed the post about Ricky!! So sorry hope he has a complete recovery!! I know it must be really hard on you and your DH, will be adding my prayers for all of you! Keep us updated!!! DianePA

Terri, I have been thinking about and praying for you all ever since I got the message about what happened. I'm so sorry. I wish I could help in some way, but I know all of our prayers will be heard.
Please keep us posted as often as you can. Hold on to your faith, Terri! It will get you through this difficult time. I know you know that.

Thanks Michelle for the update & try to get a good night's sleep, you are already I hope, I'm 2-3 hrs later in Ca. We're all praying & pulling for her that it will go well & that she will do well during recovery. Glad she has a great family to support her & lots of GJ friends to help also. Kristy the disk that was out of place was pushed against the syatic nerve,the Dr said he might have some numbness(sp)in his leg for a while but,I don't think Mike really knew what is was gonna be like,I do know he is having a time with it,he goes back to the Dr Monday so hopefully they will be able to tell more about it. Now Steph my DIL that just had the baby,is having some problems with her heart,she went to the Dr today and they told her it seems to be skipping a beat,she is only 25 years old,she has to go back on the 23rd for more test,so please pray for her. Please everybody don't get upset with me I have to talk to someone,and you guys really seem to care,but I am sorry if my post bothers anyone,I just can't seem to handle all this alone. Hugs Bonnie

Julie has been concerned about being able to get back to the hospital where Raina will be when she wants to without having to wait for the transportation dept to bring her a wheelchair. Wendy got to work on that yesterday and we have one at no charge for however long Julie needs it, so she can rest her mind about that. Even though they are in separate hospitals, the hospitals are connected by tunnels (for the personnel) and overhead covered walkways, but it takes a least 10 minutes at a good pace to just reach the hospital, and then have to get to where you want to go. Julie and I were talking the other day and thought they should install those moving walk things they have in the larger airports. @:) SharonG

Hi hon, I posted this about ricky in the Kitchen Table forum - I sent you the links this morning. I know you were able to read them, but could not find them. The kindness of those folks is overwhelming.
