Thank you all for thinking of me of Christin's Heaven Day. We've been very busy these last few weeks. Unfortunately, it hasn't been anything fun. My dad has been in the hospital for the last 3 weeks. He ended up having major surgery because of unnecessary tests that they put him through. He is on the mend now, though, thank God. We made it through Christin's Heaven Day and her birthday on the 13th, alright. I will try to respond to all the new posts as soon as I can. Thanks for thinking of me and missing me! :-) Lu

When I get home from work tonight I want to check the dates on mine. Not only did I find pennies everywhere I also started finding dimes. I was careful to keep them separate from my other money in my change purse; it finally got to be too much to carry there so I'm keeping those coins in a pretty tin that I bought at a yard sale the morning before Bob died. The most strange thing was this: When I was switching out my winter clothes for my summer clothes earlier this year I had carried about 20 items upstairs - they were on hangers in the basement closet. I laid them on my bed and went through them one by one so I could eliminate what didn't fit, I didn't like, etc. When I got about halfway through the stack there was a dime. It was laying on a sweater! OK, maybe I was holding the clothes up against me and the pressure kept it from dropping out. BUT - if that was the case how did it stay there while they were hanging in the closet downstairs? And I had already been finding dimes instead of pennies for a few weeks at that time. No doubt in my mind where it came from.

Lulie wayne, it's so good to see you post. I've been thinking about you lately for some reason. This whole BP thing is a disaster. I've been mad since day one since nothing seems to be happening except blotched attempts to save the oil well, nature be damned. It's way past time for BP to get off their throne and do something constructive. And another thing that ticks me off is the shrimp and fishermen are prepared to go out and clean the marshes but the EPA and Coast Guard are keeping them from it. (I just heard that on the news tonight.) I think Louisiana should take a page out of Arizona's book and just do it themselves like they would like to. Geez, think this upsets me?????

Just a small question. Why is it called fictionalized? I think she was a beautiful girl, and I remember (I think) reading about her trying to save her brothers dog. Such a sad thing. Leslie
