Melissa is in heaven

Tonight my beautiful daughter in law lost her fight with brain cancer. She died very peacefully. She was only 28 and had 2 of my grandchildren, ages 8 and 5. I miss her so much already but know she is in a much better place away from all the pain. Please say a prayer for her children. Thank you

I'm so sorry! I'll most certainly keep the children as well as you and the rest of the family in my thoughts and prayers.

You have my sympathy, too. So hard on the whole family.

As someone who lost her mother at age nine, I encourage you to talk to your grandchildren about their mother and give them plenty of opportunities to vent their feelings and reinforce their memories of her.
