| The daughter of a woman I work with recently suffered a stillbirth of a baby boy. I'd like to make her a memory candle and put an appropriate poem on it.
Does anyone know of a poem that would work in this situation? |

| Dian, the memory candle is a lovely idea. These are three poems I had saved, not sure if they are what you want. Elspeth A Special Little Spirit "You're a Special Little Spirit," the all great Master said, "I'm back," Little Spirit whispered, as he climbed onto his Master's knee, "Little Spirit, I know your heart is heavy with this message you need to share. Fly, fly precious one Fly, fly, do not fear Fly, fly little wing Dearest Mommy When you wonder the meaning of life and love WHen you begin to doubt that you shall ever see me again When you lose your identity When you awaken each morning WHen you linger in the remnant pain As the sunrise illuminates the desert sky -Joanne Cacciatore |

| I framed this poem with the only photo of my stillborn son (May 1986), and know it by heart. I am unsure of the origin, perhaps it was on a card or something. Because of this poem and my love for flowers, I have never looked at a rose the same way since then. "Little Angels" "When God calls little children A memorial candle is a wonderful idea for your co-workers' daughter...you are so kind to think of such a thing. |
