Here is a baby website that I enjoy.

www.babycenter.com They have a lot of good information there about babies from infancy to older.

I found a site today that is good for kids of all ages. It has lots of crafty things & learning activities. We printed out some "shape" pages that Dessie could practice cutting out. There's painting online or you can print them out. Also little books you could print out and make.
Tons & tons of things to do there, check it out!

Deb that is a real neat website. I saved it to my favorites for Aeryn. She is going to love it! Right now she is enjoying Kneebouncers.com She can punch any key on the keyboard and something cute will pop up on screen. She loves the sounds of the train, car, and tractor too. ;) It seems so funny to see such a tiny little girl sitting at my computer playing!!!

Jeri has already given you the best place to look up roses so I'll answer your second question. Moonstone is a lovely light pink to white HT with beautiful form and some fragrance. I don't know how it is for cutting but since it's an excellent show rose it probably lasts pretty well. I have Falling in Love which is a lovely pale pink and white with fragrance but it is a little disease prone and VERY thorny.

EDIS/IFAS does include regional planting dates on the fact sheets for individual varieties of flowers - I tried typing the common name in their search box & got results for a few. I have transformed our back yard into a micro farm. Today I was looking in the Garden Web and I just found ".09 acres" and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. We are also in the Tidewater area. I began my gardening quest a few years ago, with the support of my wife. I'm retired now, so I have the time to tend to it to my satisfaction. It's interesting to see that I'm not alone in trying to find other vegetable gardeners in this area. When you look for "gardening", most of the time it's flowers only. I look forward to reading everyone's vegetable gardening blogs in this immediate geographic area. One thing about my blog though, I can't seem to figure out how to make the comment section work. It seems tedious to leave a comment with all the info you have to provide. People have asked me how to leave a comment, but I can't tell them. Maybe someone here can tell me how to accomplish it. Annie, Since you want a bigger rose to knock a few years off of waiting until your ZD matures, may I recommend getting it either from Reagan Roses as an own root/bare root rose in spring of 2019. Or, get it bare root grafted on multiflora root stock from Palatine Roses (Canada), also next spring. Both sources should supply the largest size generally available commercially, of all bare root or pot grown sources I know of. Antique Rose Emporium sells 2 gallon size roses, but all own root, and truly IMHO, are not really much bigger or older than one gallon own root stock sold elsewhere. I think grafted on multiflora will be a good root stock for you in PA, and produce larger size at maturity over an own root, bare root ZD from Reagan Roses. However, being own root as Reagan provides, means no possibility of a root stock taking dominance over the scion, ZD, since it is growing on its own root. Check both nurseries for the size of the roses you will get, grade #1 is the largest size generally available. Oh yeah, good ole pbs...very familiar with that one. Dessie is 3 now and she has an old puter of ours. We have a couple of sites that she is allowed to get on when she wants and that is one of them. She also has alot of games and learning activity games that she uses. I'm amazed at how fast she learned to use the mouse and do the double clicking, the click & drag to make it all work. But it sure will be easier for her when she get's to school.
