I have recently starting talking to my father after sometime now and he has never met my 19 mo old. now my son already has a grandma and Grump-pa (he's a grouch) and a mom-mom and Pop-pop my father is remarried to a 36 year old (only 9 years older then me by the way) I dont want to hurt my mom by letting my son also call her grandma (my mom is really sensitive to this matter) any Ideas on what to do??

As a grandma, I can certainly understand how your mom would feel. Think of a name that is very different from Grandma. There's a huge thread just a few threads down about "What your grandchild calls you". Read through the thread and maybe you'll find a name for your father's wife that appeals to you.

I would guess your Dads 36 year old wife probably doesn't want to think of herself as a "Grandma" anyway, and maybe wouldn't want to be called Grandma by your son. Why not ask her and see if there is some nickname she would prefer to be called. Then you wouldn't step on any toes... your Moms or hers. I would tell your Dad's wife that your Mom is Grandma to your son, and too many people by the same name can be confusing... so let's pick a nickname everyone is comfortable with.

Pick out colors or whites like you want. Paint on poster board, or buy the peel and stick color patches and put on poster board. Leave a white border all the way around the poster board, so it doesnt clash with the color you have now. Since you want the whole house the same color, then pick a color that goes in your kitchen with your cabinets etc first. Then try it in the rest of the house. The color in there now, does not go with your cabinets. It has way too much yellow in it. I would look for colors that have no yellow hues.

Firstly, thanks for your response. We were watering every other day for the first 5 weeks. Just with the hose on the sprinkler setting for about 5 mins per tree. We did not hydrate the root ball. We followed the planting instructions that came with the trees. We dug the hole 3x the width of the root ball, placed the root ball into the hole, just slightly higher than ground level to allow for run off, and then back filled with the soil, trying to remove air pockets as we went. I should also add that we fertilised with evergreen fertiliser sticks about 5 weeks after planting (in April). We put the sticks about 5 feet from the trunk. They have been planted for 10-11 weeks now and this has begun in the last 2 weeks.

Yes a runner would be safer on the stairs. That raised edge (if I am seeing right) is a terrible tripping situation. My good friend had that and it was really bad. Hope you can get that done.

My granddaughter calls me grandma, my ex husbands wife Nanny. Works for us so maybe your baby can come up with his own word for her?
