mother of my 1st granddaughter gift

With Mother's Day coming up, I'd like to say 'Thank You" to the girl who gave birth to my 1st grandchild. She is not married to my son, but she is being wonderful in sharing the time with her with us, so I'm racking my brain trying to think of a little something for you with a card telling her how grateful I am to her for giving birth to her. My granddaughter was born the end of Feb., and I had a bracelet made with her name on it and gave it to the mommy when she got out of the hospital (should have waited and gave it to her now) so now I'm in search of something special other than flowers. More of a keepsake. Any ideas out there?

If you don't get much feedback from this forum, try the 'conversations' forum which is part of the Home Decor Forum.
Doesn't have to be home decor related..........just a good bunch of folks to chat with over there.

You could also try The Kitchen Table Forum.

You've asked a good question and I'll be interested in the suggestions. I'm also a new grandmother and don't have a clue what to get DIL!

Here is a link that might be useful: conversations......
